* Do not enter and *idle*, you must either speak or if you need to go on a brb, state this is what you are doing or you may be removed. * Please do not PM a user you do not know without first asking permission, they may not respond in the way you wish. * If you do not like someone, just simply find their name in the user list, click it and place them on ignore rather than cause room disruption. You may find yourself banned along with the troublemaker. Should someone be bothering you, PM a staff member or report it. * You must register to be able to upload pictures/videos and keep your own avatar and account settings. Just ask Debs or Zee and your registration will be completed within minutes. Should you forget your password and request a new one, it will be sent to an e-mail associated with your account, or PM'd via the site forum. * Moderate swearing is permitted in our chatrooms, the use of the “C” word is NOT. Please do not use this word or attempt to misspell it using the letter K. Any user who does so will be warned by a staff member. A second time will result in an immediate ban. Excessive swearing is not allowed on the main site forum. * Anyone who impersonates a staff member will be banned from the site without warning. * We do not allow user names with “cam” or “msn” or “phone” in them. This is because we cannot moderate this form of chat. Also if we consider your user name to be overtly sexual in nature, we reserve the right to request that you change it. Refusal to do so will result in a ban. * Usernames must not contain offensive/sexually suggestive words. Anyone who logs in using such names will be removed. * We log all IP information and conversations here at Tree Top Chat for security reasons. * No flaming/bullying/baiting of other users will be tolerated here. If you are asked to stop please do so. Repeated requests to stop this behaviour will result in an eventual ban. * Logging in with more than one name may get you banned. At times we understand that you may be removed from the room via your browser or internet crashing, alert a member of staff should one be on duty and they will remove the name that is not needed. * Allowing someone else to use your name and password IS a bannable offence. * Most chatrooms consider using CAPS all the time to be shouting. In TreeTops we also consider this to be shouting or unnecessary. Should you be asked to stop using caps by a member of staff, please do so, although we do understand that sometimes its easy to forget or do this accidentally. So this will be considered. Users ignoring staff requests, will be banned. NO EXCEPTIONS. * Should you cause disruption to the room, you will be placed on a gag and then spoken to by the member of staff that gagged you. If you leave before a member of staff can speak to you so that the gagging is removed. You will be gagged again. Should you leave the chatroom again, you will be banned upon return. * You may exchange personal information such as your e-mail address in PM at your own risk. Tree Tops will not be held responsible for any harrassment resulting from users giving out personal information in private. * Swearing or disrepecting staff instructions will result in a ban. NO EXCEPTIONS. * NO 3rd Party links to be given out or URL to other chatrooms, unless permission is given by staff, otherwise you will be kicked or banned. * English language only spoken in chat. Ignoring any requests to speak in English will result in a kick or ban. |
